Blueface Arrested and Faces Armed Robbery Charges
News of Blueface’s arrest put Twitter users in a joyful frenzy.
Rapper Blueface, age 26, found himself in an unusual situation when officers arrested him at a Los Angeles courthouse.
Police took Blueface into custody Wednesday, June 7, and charged him with a felony. His arrest comes while he waited for the preliminary hearing regarding an attempted murder charge at a courthouse. The “Hello” rapper’s pending hearing regarded alleged connections with an October shooting outside of the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club.
The “Thotiana” Rapper’s attorneys, Lisa Rasmussen and Kristina Wildeveld, claim that they’re unaware of specifics regarding his new arrest. They told TMZ, “We look forward to vigorously defending him on both cases.”
Twitter netizens are having a field day with Blueface’s recent arrest. The arrest follows a recent post of singer Erykah Badu, where she admonishes Blueface. Her post is a response to Blueface’s June 1, 2023, Instagram picture. Blueface posted an image and video of himself surrounded by pregnant women in bathing suits.
The photo’s caption read; “I’m in n out a bih life I’m not Oscar proud.” (sic)
The caption is a lyric from his latest song ‘BDD’ and the picture and video are from its music video. Many speculate that the post and song are a reference to Blueface’s longtime ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock. Chrisean, age 23, recently revealed that she is allegedly pregnant with Blueface’s child. However, Blueface responded negatively to Chrisean’s announcement and the two eventually split. Erykah Badu is allegedly disgusted by Blueface’s treatment of the women in the video and Chrisean Rock.
Erykah Badu posted an Instagram story that shared Blueface’s ‘BBD’ post and wrote; “He’s trash Universe do your thing” (sic).
Many Twitter users consider the spiritual singer’s call to the universe as a curse or magic. They believe his recent arrest is the karmic result of her beckoning call.
